My tooth hurts!!

I have this annoying pain in my left side of my mouth my tooth hurts so bad. My dentist told me he was going to do a root canal on that side of my mouth after I come back from chicago but I was busy one of the days an the day after that it just started hurting when the day before that I could of got this shit done with already, now I have to wait till next wednesday just to freaking get it fixed so it doesnt hurt anymore. I cant have any food thats hot or too cold because it bothers me it just makes the nerves really annoying and it hurts alot even when I use mouth wash or when I brush my teeth, I even tried to buy this sensodyne tooth paste for tooth sensitivity.. but it doesnt really work that good becuase it still it does like some pumping sensation and it hurts my mouth and I dont really like this feeling I am having. And I even tried some ambesol that stuff for oral to numb your teeth that doesnt work either maximum strength just made it hurt even more so screw that oh and it numbed my tounge. So I have to wait till next wednesday at 5:30pm oh the joy. This sucks. Im going to like hardly eat becuase it hurts.
